Perinatal Therapy

Pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood are often described in glowing terms, but the reality is far more complex. In addition to moments of love and joy, many new parents experience anxiety, rage, grief, exhaustion, or intrusive thoughts that can feel frightening or shameful. These struggles don't mean you're a bad parent or a bad person; they mean you're human, moving through one of life's most profound transitions. In therapy, I offer space to speak openly about these experiences without judgment, process the overwhelming emotions, and navigate the deep changes in identity and relationships that accompany parenthood. Together, we can make space for both the difficulties and the meaning of these moments, helping you feel more resourced, grounded, and supported as you navigate parenthood. I am also deeply committed to supporting queer and trans parents who often face unique challenges navigating oppressive systems that do not honor their experiences and identities.
