Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy is a way of looking beneath the surface of present-day struggles to understand their origins. Together, we will explore how early experiences and past relationships shape the ways you think, feel, and connect now. By drawing connections across time, therapy offers insight into the unconscious patterns that influence daily life, sometimes in ways that no longer serve you. With greater awareness and a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship, clients often find themselves better able to shift long-standing dynamics, deepen self-acceptance, and create more authentic relationships. While the foundation is psychodynamic, I also integrate somatic approaches to explore emotions stored in the body, mindfulness to support grounding and emotional self-regulation, and cognitive strategies to challenge unhelpful beliefs and self-talk.
